Senior Trainee Manager – South Dublin

Excel Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Senior Trainee Manager for a busy grocery retail store in South Dublin.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong retail manager who has solid experience within grocery and is looking to take the next step in their career.

Salary: €40,000 – €45,000 DOE

The Role:

• Support the Store Manager with the overall running of the store
• Manage and motivate the team to achieve strong store standards
• Oversee stock, orders, waste and merchandising
• Ensure excellent customer service across the store
• Manage opening and closing procedures
• Support with rosters, training and staff development
• Ensure company procedures and health and safety standards are maintained
• Take responsibility for the store in the Store Manager’s absence

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous management experience within grocery retail
• Strong experience as a Trainee Manager, Duty Manager or Assistant Manager
• Confident managing a busy team and fast-paced store
• Strong operational and commercial knowledge
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ambitious and keen to progress within grocery retail
