Supervisor – Dundrum

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Supervisor to join the opening of their well-established store in the heart of Dundrum. Known for their wide array of creative art, crafts, and stationery supplies, this is a superb opportunity for a retail professional with supervisory experience and a passion for creativity to join a constantly expanding business.

In this hands-on role, you will support the Store Manager in leading a vibrant team, ensuring excellent customer service, and gaining real retail experience in a business that values its staff, and promotes a creative and engaging work environment.

Key Responsibilities as Supervisor

• Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring smooth operations at all times.
• Lead, motivate, and coach a small team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Take responsibility for store standards, including presentation, stock management, and visual merchandising.
• Open and close the store, with responsibility for cash handling and keyholder duties.
• Assist in driving sales and supporting the achievement of targets and KPIs.
• Help foster a positive team culture where staff feel engaged and valued.

Key Requirements

• 1 year + supervisory experience in a retail environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to support and motivate a team.
• Customer-focused with a genuine interest in delivering an exceptional shopping experience.
• Flexible and hands-on with a can-do attitude.
• A passion for creativity is highly desirable.
