About the Role

As a Relief Chef, you’ll be key to keeping our client kitchens running smoothly by stepping in where you’re needed most. You’ll get the chance to work in a variety of catering environments, supporting experienced teams while upholding the highest culinary standards.

Your duties will include:

  • Covering chef absences due to holidays or illness

  • Supporting newly opened catering sites during their launch period

  • Helping kitchens during peak times or when extra staff are needed

  • Preparing and serving fresh, high-quality meals that meet company standards

  • Upholding excellent food safety, hygiene, and HACCP practices

  • Collaborating closely with onsite teams to ensure smooth, efficient service

What You’ll Need

  • Prior experience as a Chef in contract catering or a busy commercial kitchen

  • The ability to adapt quickly to different kitchens and teams

  • A professional, dependable, and positive approach

  • Solid knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP procedures

  • Willingness to travel to various client sites across Cork

  • A full driving licence and your own transport is a plus
