Recruitment & Employment Consultant – Remote Ireland

Are you an experienced Recruitment Consultant or Executive Search professional who would like to use your recruitment expertise in a more people-focused and rewarding role?

Our client is a leading organisation dedicated to supporting individuals into sustainable employment while partnering with local businesses and communities. They are seeking a Recruitment & Employment Consultant to support experienced and highly qualified professionals in successfully returning to the workplace.

This is not a traditional recruitment desk. You will use your understanding of the recruitment market, employers and selection processes to provide practical, one-to-one support to professional and senior-level jobseekers. You’ll help individuals identify suitable opportunities, strengthen their job-search strategy, navigate recruitment processes and overcome barriers to securing sustainable employment.

The role is fully remote, but you must live in Ireland and be available to travel to office locations around Ireland when required

Candidates based in Leinster or the Midlands would be ideally located.

The Role

• Provide tailored employment and job-search support to professional and senior-level clients.
• Help individuals develop focused and realistic strategies for returning to employment.
• Use your recruitment knowledge to guide clients through employer recruitment and selection processes.
• Identify suitable career pathways and employment opportunities.
• Build relationships with employers, recruiters and industry contacts.
• Work alongside Employment Advisors to provide personalised support.
• Help clients identify and overcome barriers to employment.
• Work within a target-driven environment while delivering a high level of client support.

About You

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in recruitment, executive search or a similar role.
• Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Strong understanding of the Irish labour market and recruitment processes.
• Excellent communication, questioning and listening skills.
• Confident building relationships and influencing outcomes.
• Empathetic, supportive and solutions-focused approach.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote and target-driven environment.
• Genuine interest in helping people return to meaningful employment.
• Experience supporting long-term unemployed jobseekers would be beneficial but is not essential.
