IT Support Technician Dublin

Excel Recruitment is currently seeking an IT Support Technician for a retail client in South Dublin. This candidate will become an integral member of the IT Service and Support team, providing technical assistant to colleagues and customers across the business. Responsibilities

• Diagnose, track and resolve technical issues for customers and colleagues
• Ensure that all issues and resolutions are correctly logged
• Prioritise and manage multiple issues as they arise
• Ensure all operating systems and software packages are kept up to date and secure
• Interact with customers and colleagues to identify the cause of issues
• Follow up on issues to ensure they have been resolved correctly

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
• Third level degree in a relevant field
• Good understanding of computer, mobile and hand held devices
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Comfortable working with both Windows and Mac OS
• Enthusiastic about emerging technology
