Human Resources Executive
Excel Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Executive to join a well-established hospitality business in Limerick.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working closely with people and management and wants to take ownership of the day-to-day HR function within a busy, people-focused environment. You’ll have the opportunity to work across recruitment, employee engagement, training and development, employee relations and wider HR initiatives while receiving support from senior management.
Responsibilities
As Human Resources Executive, your responsibilities will include:
* Oversee the day-to-day administration and smooth running of the HR function
* Support managers across recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, employee engagement and development
* Manage the recruitment process, including advertising, screening, selection and onboarding
* Deliver a positive and professional onboarding experience for new employees
* Respond to employee queries in a timely, supportive and professional manner
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation
* Coordinate training and ensure statutory training requirements remain up to date
* Support management with employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance processes
* Assist with initiatives designed to improve employee engagement and the overall working environment
* Prepare and submit weekly payroll information to the payroll department
* Support the implementation of wider HR projects and initiatives
* Monitor absenteeism and maintain regular communication with departmental managers
Requirements
This Human Resources Executive role would suit someone who brings:
* A qualification in Human Resources Management, or is currently studying towards a relevant HR qualification
* At least three years’ previous experience in an HR role or HR department
* Good working knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practice
* Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
* A professional and approachable manner when dealing with employees and managers
* Strong emotional intelligence, leadership and conflict-management skills
