Horticulturist

Excel Recruitment are seeking an accomplished Horticulturist to join our renowned retail client in Co. Meath.

We are seeking an experienced Horticulturist who understands the agricultural business, appreciates high standards and who has the ambition to maximise potential company sales.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hard-working Horticulturist to take on a new challenge and to become a valued member of a like-minded team.

Responsibilities of this job include:

• Preserve control of all stock to ensure a fresh offering to the customer
• Ensure that all displays are immaculate and appealing to the customer
• Assist the Manager in maintaining high standards across the branch
• Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction by providing top quality, fast, efficient, and friendly service always

Skills and experience required for this job:

• A qualification in horticulture
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant retail garden centre experience
• Ability to multitask and to consistently deliver high-standard quality work in a busy environment
• Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
• A friendly outgoing personality, excellent customer service skills, and ambition to deliver beyond customers’ expectation

Salary package:

• €13-17.50 depending on experience
• 40hrs per week
• 5% Pension contribution
• Staff discount
• 22 days AL plus a company day
