The Role

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will:

• Use your knowledge of HIQA standards to help keep care safe and of a high standard.
• Support patients, residents and service users with their everyday activities.
• Deliver high-quality, caring support to everyone you look after.
• Offer ongoing support and build trusting relationships.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• QQI Level 5 in healthcare
• 2+ years of Healthcare Assistant experience

• A compassionate and professional approach to care

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Eligibility to work in Ireland and currently residing in Ireland

A full clean driving licence and access to your own transport would be an advantage.

Training Requirements

While not essential at the application stage, successful candidates will be required to hold the following certifications to work:

• Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults

• Patient Manual Handling

• Infection Control

Having these certifications already completed is highly beneficial. If you do not currently hold them, our team can assist you in arranging the required training.
