Healthcare Assistant (HCA) – Dublin

About the Role

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering safe, effective and person-centred care, and your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting residents and service users with personal care and daily living activities.
• Delivering high-quality, person-centred care with dignity and respect.
• Working alongside nursing and care teams to maintain excellent standards of care.
• Promoting the comfort, wellbeing, and independence of those in your care.
• Contributing to maintaining a safe and positive healthcare environment.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support (or equivalent).
• Previous Healthcare Assistant experience.
• A compassionate and professional approach to care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland and currently residing in Ireland.

Training Requirements

While not essential at the application stage, successful candidates will be required to hold the following certifications to work:

• CPR
• Patient Manual Handling
• HACCP Level 2

Having these certifications already completed is highly beneficial. If you do not currently hold them, our team can assist you in arranging the required training.
