This is a rare senior leadership opportunity within a major national retail organisation. As Head of Retail, you will lead a large-scale multi-site operation, driving commercial growth, operational excellence and strategic execution across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a large-scale multi-site retail operation across a national store network
• Drive commercial performance, profitability, and operational excellence across all locations
• Develop and implement long-term retail strategies aligned with overall business objectives
• Lead, mentor, and develop senior retail leadership teams across the organisation
• Deliver best-in-class customer experience and operational standards across the business
• Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and operational improvement
• Drive performance across all key commercial and operational KPIs
• Lead transformational change and continuous improvement initiatives across the retail network
• Partner closely with executive leadership on strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business development
• Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, leadership, customer excellence, and commercial delivery
• Ensure consistency, governance, and operational alignment across all retail operations

About You:

• Extensive experience operating at senior retail leadership level within a large-scale, multi-site retail environment
• Proven track record of delivering significant commercial growth and operational performance
• Highly strategic and commercially focused with strong executive presence
• Exceptional leadership capability with experience leading large teams through growth and transformation
• Strong understanding of retail operations, customer behaviour, and commercial performance drivers
• Influential communicator capable of operating effectively at executive and board level
• Passionate about people, leadership development, operational excellence, and customer experience
• Experience within grocery, FMCG, convenience, or large-format retail environments highly desirable
