Head of Operations – Integrated Facilities Management | Dublin
An outstanding opportunity for an experienced facilities management leader to take ownership of a large-scale, high-profile operation within a complex and highly regulated environment.
This senior leadership role is responsible for the delivery of integrated facilities management services, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, client satisfaction, compliance, and the ongoing development of a large multidisciplinary team.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will lead multiple service lines, drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage contract performance, and ensure the highest standards of safety and service delivery across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a large multidisciplinary workforce and management team.
- Oversee the delivery of all facilities management services, ensuring KPI and SLA performance.
- Manage budgets, forecasting, cost control, and overall profit and loss performance.
- Build strong long-term relationships with key stakeholders and client contacts.
- Drive operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain the highest standards of health & safety, compliance, governance, and risk management.
- Manage supplier and contractor performance across multiple service streams.
- Lead change management and business transformation projects.
- Ensure business continuity plans, audit requirements, and regulatory standards are maintained.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
- Support sustainability, environmental, and energy reduction programmes.
- Coach, mentor, and develop future leaders within the business.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior Facilities Management, Operations, or Account Leadership role.
- Strong background managing large teams within a complex operational environment.
- Experience within manufacturing, pharmaceutical, food production, industrial, healthcare, data centre, or other regulated environments.
- Proven responsibility for budgets, forecasting, and P&L management.
- Strong understanding of Hard Services, Soft Services, Technical Services, and Workplace Services.
- Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing experience.
- Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking skills.
- Proven ability to lead change, drive improvements, and deliver results.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable
- Facilities Management qualification.
- IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent Health & Safety certification.
- Additional compliance, operational, or project management qualifications.
