€45,000 – €50,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the butcher department
• Prepare, cut, and present fresh meat products to the highest standards
• Drive sales through product quality, merchandising, and customer engagement
• Manage ordering, stock control, and waste levels to maximise profitability
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, HACCP, and health & safety procedures
• Train, mentor, and develop junior members of the team
• Maintain department standards, availability, and presentation at all times
• Work closely with senior store management to achieve business objectives

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Butcher with strong retail butchery experience
• Previous experience managing or supervising a butcher department
• Strong understanding of stock control, margins, and waste management
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Passion for fresh food and high-quality products
• Proven ability to lead and develop a successful team
