Grocery Department Manager – Blackrock & Dundrum

Excel Recruitment is seeking experienced Grocery Department Managers for exciting opportunities with a leading retail business in Blackrock and Dundrum, Dublin.

You will take ownership of a busy department, leading a large team and driving performance across sales, availability, waste, customer service and operational standards. The Role

• Take ownership of the commercial and operational performance of a busy grocery department
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing retail team
• Drive sales, productivity and KPI performance
• Maintain excellent standards across availability, stock, waste and presentation
• Use trading information to identify opportunities and maximise sales
• Deliver an excellent customer experience
• Develop talent and build a strong succession pipeline
• Work closely with the wider store management team to deliver store objectives

About You

• 3+ years’ management experience within grocery or high-volume retail
• Experience managing a busy department, store or large retail team
• Strong commercial awareness with a track record of delivering sales and KPIs
• Excellent people leadership and team development skills
• Strong operational standards and attention to detail
• Hands-on, energetic and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
