General Manager – Retail | Dublin City Centre

Excel Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting a General Manager for a highly regarded Dublin City Centre retail business, known for its carefully curated range of quality fashion, home and lifestyle brands and exceptional customer experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished retail leader to take responsibility for a busy and successful store, leading a large team and driving commercial performance, customer experience and operational standards.

We are particularly keen to hear from experienced Store Managers and Senior Managers from fashion, premium retail, department stores, lifestyle or other high-volume retail environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial and operational performance of the store
• Inspire, coach and develop a large management and store team
• Drive sales, profitability and KPI performance
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and high store standards
• Analyse trading performance and identify opportunities to drive results
• Build an engaged, accountable and high-performing team
• Work closely with senior leadership to deliver wider business objectives

About You

• You may currently be a General Manager, Store Manager, Flagship Store Manager or Senior Retail Manager with:
• Experience leading a large, high-volume retail operation
• A strong track record in sales and commercial performance
• Excellent people leadership and management development skills
• Strong commercial awareness and confidence working with KPIs
• A passion for customer experience and retail standards
• The energy to thrive in a fast-paced city centre environment
