Salary: €40,000 + Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day running of the fresh food department
• Lead, train and motivate the fresh food team
• Manage stock levels, ordering, waste and margins
• Ensure excellent food presentation and merchandising standards
• Maintain strong HACCP and food safety standards
• Drive sales and identify opportunities to grow the department
• Manage rosters and ensure appropriate staffing levels
• Always ensure a high standard of customer service

Requirements:

• Previous experience managing a deli or fresh food department
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures
• Experience with ordering, stock control and waste management
• Strong people management and leadership skills
• Commercially aware with a focus on sales and margins
• Hands-on, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
