Introduction

Excel Recruitment is seeking a Disputes & Investigations Solicitor for our client who specialises in the legal and professional services industry located in the heart of Dublin City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE to join a highly regarded disputes practice, working on complex commercial litigation, regulatory matters, investigations and other high-value contentious work. The opportunity is open to solicitors currently practising in Ireland as well as lawyers considering a return to the Irish market.

Responsibilities

• Advise Irish and international clients on complex commercial disputes and contentious matters.
• Manage litigation and alternative dispute resolution matters, including mediation and arbitration.
• Advise corporate clients on regulatory investigations, enquiries and enforcement matters.
• Support clients through internal investigations and sensitive corporate issues.
• Advise on white-collar crime matters, including fraud, bribery, corruption and money laundering.
• Assist with disputes involving technology companies, customers and consumers.
• Advise on defamation and reputational matters.
• Engage with regulators and manage responses to information requests, investigations and regulatory action.
• Provide strategic advice to senior management and boards on business-critical disputes.
• Work on complex, high-value and cross-border matters across a range of industries.

Requirements

• 4+ years’ relevant PQE as a qualified solicitor.
• Experience gained within a large, mid-sized or boutique corporate law firm, or within a relevant in-house legal team.
• Strong background or interest in commercial litigation, disputes, investigations or regulatory work.
• Exposure to litigation, mediation, arbitration or other forms of dispute resolution.
• Experience dealing with complex corporate or commercial legal matters.
• Regulatory or white-collar crime experience would be advantageous.
• Experience advising technology, financial services or other regulated organisations would also be beneficial.
• Strong communication, analytical and client-management skills.
• Ability to manage complex and sensitive matters effectively.
