Are you an experienced Operations professional with a passion for hospitality, business strategy and delivering exceptional customer experiences? We are looking for a commercially focused Director of Operations – Hospitality & Leisure for our well-established client operating a busy estate/grounds and restaurant property. This is an excellent opportunity to lead the day-to-day operation while helping to shape and implement the long-term strategy of the business. Dublin based.

Key Responsibilities for this Director of Operations – Hospitality & Leisure job include:
- Develop and implement the operational strategy in partnership with the senior management team
- Develop and implement the operational strategy with the senior management team.
- Translate the business strategy into clear departmental objectives and action plans.
- Oversee the daily operations of the estate, restaurant and surrounding grounds.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve profitability and support business growth.
- Lead, motivate and develop departmental managers and their teams.
- Monitor budgets, payroll, stock, costs and overall business performance.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, presentation and operational efficiency.
- Use guest feedback and performance data to improve the customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, food safety, licensing and company procedures.
- Report regularly to senior management on operational, financial and strategic performance.
Requirements for this Director of Operations – Hospitality & Leisure job include:
- Previous operations management experience within a hotel, restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Experience contributing to and implementing operational or commercial strategy.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, payroll and operational costs.
- A proven ability to identify growth opportunities and improve business performance.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of health and safety, food safety and hospitality compliance requirements.
