Department Manager – Killarney Co Kerry

Our client, one of the world’s most recognised retail brands, is seeking an experienced Department Manager to join their successful Killarney Co Kerry Store.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious retail leader with a strong background in Fashion or Grocery retail management who is passionate about people, customer experience and commercial success. You will lead from the shop floor, inspire your team to deliver exceptional service, and drive sales through outstanding leadership, coaching and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing fashion team to deliver exceptional customer service
• Drive sales, productivity and KPI performance across the department
• Create an engaging shopping environment through excellent merchandising and high visual standards
• Recruit, develop and retain talent while supporting succession planning
• Manage performance, attendance and colleague engagement
• Support the Store Manager in delivering outstanding commercial and operational results
• Foster a positive, inclusive and customer-focused culture

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ management experience within fashion or grocery retail
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop successful retail teams
• Strong commercial awareness with experience driving sales and KPIs
• Passion for fashion, styling and delivering an exceptional customer experience
• Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
• A hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment
