Deli Supervisor – North Cork

Excel Recruitment are currently seeking a Deli Supervisor to join a busy and customer-focused convenience retail store in North Cork.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced deli team member or supervisor looking to progress their career with a well-established retailer that is committed to fresh food excellence and delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the day-to-day running of a busy deli department.
• Lead and motivate the deli team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and freshness.
• Ensure HACCP, food safety and hygiene standards are consistently achieved.
• Assist with stock control, ordering and waste management.
• Drive sales through strong merchandising and product availability.
• Support training and development of team members.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in a deli, food service or convenience retail environment.
• Experience supervising or leading a team is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Passion for fresh food and maintaining high standards.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced retail environment.
