Deli Manager – Cork
Are you a people-focused leader with a passion for great food and smooth operations?
We’re looking for an experienced Deli Manager to take charge of a busy deli department in Cork.
In this role, you’ll manage a team of up to 15 staff, ensuring top-quality customer service, immaculate presentation, and consistent delivery of sales and margin targets.
You’ll be responsible for ordering, waste control, compliance, and creating a positive, energetic team culture that keeps both staff and customers smiling.
Salary on offer up to €42k plus Bonus for the right candidate.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of up to 15 deli staff to deliver exceptional service
- Manage all aspects of deli operations including food prep, merchandising, stock control, and hygiene
- Drive sales and profitability through effective planning, upselling, and margin management
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, HACCP, and company standards
- Manage weekly rotas, training, and performance reviews to maintain a high-performing team
- Analyse sales reports and identify opportunities to improve department performance
- Work closely with store management to deliver promotional activity and maintain strong brand standards
- Maintain excellent visual presentation and ensure all products meet quality expectations
We’re after someone who’s commercially sharp and knows their numbers you’ll have hands-on experience managing margins, driving sales, and implementing initiatives that grow profitability.
