Excel Recruitment is currently looking for a full-time catering assistant and a kitchen porter to join an expanding team in Dublin for temporary, ongoing work. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a kitchen porter , kitchen assistant, or cooking assistant, as well as excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a team as well as on their own initiative.

Responsibilities:

• Dishes, cutlery, and other food preparation utensils must be washed, dried, and replenished.
• Cleaning and sanitising all surfaces, floors, and walls
• Adherence to health and safety principles
• Assist chefs with day-to-day operations, such as food preparation, as needed.
• Being ready to perform any additional duties that may arise.

Key Requirements:

• Must be completely flexible because shifts may be scheduled at various times (8 a.m-4 p.m).
• Previous cleaning experience as a kitchen porter/kitchen assistant is a plus
• We need someone who is eager and willing to learn
• Outgoing and positive attitude toward all tasks given
• Manual handling certificate (training can be provided)
