Excel Recruitment is currently on the lookout for a full-time Catering Assistant and Kitchen Porter interested in joining an expanding team for temporary, ongoing, work in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Kitchen Porter, Kitchen Assistant, Cooking Assistant and has excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a team and on their own initiative.

Responsibilities:

• Washing, drying, replenishing dishes, cutlery, and other food preparation utensils
• Making sure all surfaces, floors and walls are clean and sanitise
• Complying with Health and Safety principles
• To assist chefs in their day-to-day operations, including food preparation, if needed
• Being prepared to carry out any additional duties as they are needed

Key Requirements:

• Must be fully flexible as shifts could be at various times
• Previous cleaning experience as a Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant is a bonus
• We require someone who is eager and willing to learn
• Outgoing and positive approach to all tasks given
• Manual handling (training can be provided)
