Catering Assistant – Tipperary

We are currently recruiting a dependable, experienced, and self-motivated Catering Assistant to join our team in the Tipperary region for daytime shifts. This position is ideal for someone with previous catering or food service experience who is comfortable working independently while delivering excellent customer service.

Main Duties

• Support food preparation when needed
• Use the till, handle transactions accurately, and provide prompt service
• Assist customers in a friendly, professional, and helpful manner
• Prepare and maintain service areas to a high standard
• Keep all service areas, equipment, and workstations clean, tidy, and in line with hygiene standards
• Adhere to all health, safety, and HACCP procedures throughout each shift
• Work on your own initiative and manage duties effectively to support smooth daily service

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience in a Catering Assistant role or a similar food service position
• Confident using a till and working in a customer-facing environment
• Barista or coffee-making experience is an advantage
• Able to work independently and use initiative when needed
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices
  (HACCP and Manual Handling certificates are required, but training can be provided)
• Reliable, punctual, and professional in presentation
