Butchery Supervisor – Ballyfermot

Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced Butchery Supervisor for a busy food operation based in Ballyfermot, Dublin.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Butcher, Butchery Supervisor or Butchery Manager who is confident leading a team and maintaining high standards across a fast-paced butchery operation.

Salary: €45,000

The Role:

• Supervise the day-to-day operation of the butchery department
• Lead and support the butchery team during evening shifts
• Ensure excellent standards of product quality, presentation and freshness
• Oversee stock levels, rotation and waste control
• Ensure all food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards are maintained
• Support with ordering and stock management
• Maintain a clean, organised and efficient working environment
• Ensure production and workload are managed effectively throughout the shift

The Ideal Candidate:

• Strong previous experience within a butchery environment
• Previous supervisory, team leadership or management experience is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of meat preparation and butchery standards
• Excellent knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures
• Confident leading and motivating a team
• Organised, reliable and comfortable working in a busy environment
• Flexible to work evening shifts
