Excel Recruitment is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Bar and Waiting Staff to join our wedding and events team at a beautiful countryside venue outside Tralee. The successful candidates will deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring each guest enjoys a memorable experience.

Job Title: Bar and Waiting Staff – Wedding & Events

Location: Outside Tralee, Co. Kerry

(Own transport essential – limited public transport available)

Job Type: Part-time / Seasonal / Casual

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional table service during weddings and private functions.

  • Serve drinks efficiently and responsibly at the bar.

  • Assist with event setup and breakdown (tables, chairs, linens, place settings, etc.).

  • Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout the event.

  • Liaise with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service.

  • Deliver a friendly, welcoming attitude to all guests.

  • Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.

Requirements:

  • Own transport essential – the venue is not serviced by public transport.

  • Previous bar or waiting experience preferred (training can be provided).

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as events require.

  • Professional presentation and punctuality.

  • Must be 18+ (for bar service roles)
