We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Baker to join our busy Bakery Department in Cork. We take pride in baking fresh in store daily and need someone who takes pride in their craft and can deliver high-quality products to our loyal customers.

The Role:
As our Baker, you will be responsible for the daily production of our fresh bakery range. You will work early mornings to ensure the shelves are fully stocked with fresh scones, brown bread, pastries, and confectionery for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of products including breads, rolls, scones, cakes, and pastries.
• Ensure consistency and high standards of presentation for all baked goods.
• Monitor stock levels and minimise waste through efficient production planning.
• Maintain strict HACCP and food safety standards.
• Keep the bakery area clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Has previous experience in a professional bakery (Qualified Baker is a distinct advantage).
• Is available to work early mornings (starting approx. 1:00 – 1.30AM / 9:00 – 9.30 AM).
• Has a strong knowledge of Manual Handling/Food Safety and HACCP.
• Is reliable, hardworking, and can work well under pressure.
• Takes pride in producing high-quality food.
