Assistant Manager – Running

Our client, a running specialist retailer is seeking to recruit an Assistant Manager for their South Dublin store. This is a hands-on job opportunity for an experienced Retail Manager, with an interest and knowledge of running and who wants to be an integral part of a growing company.

This is a diverse and rewarding job where you can be involved in a variety of aspects in the overall management and success of the store, including product selection, online store, social media, and store events and promotions.

This job offers excellent working hours with no late nights and no Sundays required.

This is a wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic Retail Manager with a passion for running and sport, who loves advising and supporting customers, and is looking to continue their career in retail.

Responsibilities of this job:

• Managing the overall day-to-day operations of the store
• Lead, motivate and encourage a team of 5+ sales consultants to deliver on sales KPIs
• Overlook and ensure all online orders are responded to, picked, packed, and shipped
• Work closely with your Store Manager and the Director on product selection, trade shows, and events
• Ensure excellent customer service and product knowledge are delivered at all times
• Ensure the store is visually merchandised and commercial at all times

Skills and experience required for this job:

• Interest and knowledge of running essential
• 2+ years of retail management experience
• Great communications skills, energetic and driven

Salary negotiable DOE.
