Assistant Manager – Swords, Dublin

Our client, a well-known retailer specialising in arts, crafts, stationery and creative products, is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Junior Assistant Manager to join their store in Swords, Dublin.

This is a lovely opportunity for an experienced Retail Supervisor or Team Leader who enjoys working with customers, takes pride in great store standards and is ready to take the next step in their retail career.

Working alongside the Store Manager, you will help support the day-to-day running of the store, motivate the team and ensure customers receive a welcoming and helpful experience every time they visit.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store
• Lead by example and deliver excellent customer service
• Support and motivate the team to achieve sales and service targets
• Ensure high standards of merchandising and presentation throughout the store
• Help maintain stock levels, replenishment and general store organisation
• Get to know the products and help customers find what they need
• Support the team during busy trading periods
• Help create a positive, friendly and enjoyable environment for both customers and colleagues

Key Requirements

• Previous experience as a Retail Manager, Supervisor, Team Leader
• A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service
• Confident supporting and motivating a small retail team
• Good understanding of sales, service and store standards
• Strong communication and people skills
• Hands-on, positive and happy to get involved in all areas of the store
• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining excellent store standards
• An interest in arts, crafts, stationery or creative products would be an advantage
