Assistant Manager – Athy

We are currently recruiting a Assistant Manager for a busy and well-established store in Athy, Kildare.

What’s On Offer

• Competitive salary of €35,000 – €37,000 DOE

Responsibilities

• Support the management team in the day-to-day running of the supermarket
• Maintain strong store standards, merchandising, and customer service
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and waste management
• Support department managers across fresh food, grocery, and front-end operations
• Help drive performance across sales, margin, and store KPIs
• Assist with staff supervision, training, and team development
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and company policies

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supermarket or retail environment
• Strong interest in developing a career in supermarket management
• Good communication and leadership potential
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Organised, proactive, and eager to learn
