Assistant Deli Manager – East Galway

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Deli Manager to join a busy supermarket in East Galway.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Deli Supervisor or experienced Deli Assistant who is ready to step into management and progress their career.

€16-€18 per hour

The Role:

• Support the Deli Manager with the day-to-day running of the department
• Lead, train and motivate the deli team
• Maintain excellent fresh food and customer service standards
• Assist with ordering, stock control, waste and margins
• Ensure HACCP, hygiene and food safety standards are maintained
• Ensure displays are fully stocked and presented to a high standard
• Support the overall performance and profitability of the department

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous deli/fresh food experience
• Supervisory or team leadership experience desirable
• Strong HACCP and food safety knowledge
• Passion for fresh food and customer service
• Ambitious and eager to progress into management
