Dual Site Store Manager – Forecourt Retail Limerick

Excel Recruitment is seeking an experienced Dual Site Store Manager to oversee two busy forecourt convenience stores for an established and growing retail business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Store Manager who enjoys autonomy, leading people and driving commercial performance. You will take full responsibility for both locations, ensuring each store delivers consistently high standards across sales, fresh food, customer service, people management and operational performance.

Salary: €55k – €60k plus bonus

Responsibilities:

• Take full operational and commercial responsibility for forecourt convenience stores
• Lead, support and develop the management teams across both locations
• Drive sales, profitability and overall store performance
• Monitor key KPIs including sales, margin, labour, waste, stock and productivity
• Ensure excellent standards across grocery, fresh food, deli and forecourt operations
• Manage staffing levels, rotas, recruitment, training and performance
• Develop Store Managers, Assistant Managers and supervisors, creating strong succession within the business
• Maintain excellent standards of merchandising, availability and store presentation
• Ensure effective stock ordering, stock control and waste management
• Drive fresh food performance while ensuring full HACCP and food safety compliance
• Maintain excellent customer service standards across both sites
• Ensure company procedures, health & safety and operational standards are consistently followed
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, sales and profitability
• Regularly move between both locations, maintaining a strong hands-on presence with each team

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as a Store Manager, Site Manager, Multi-Site Manager or experienced Assistant Manager
• Strong background in forecourt, convenience or grocery retail
• Experience managing high-volume retail operations and large teams
• Strong commercial understanding with experience managing KPIs and store profitability
• Excellent people-management and leadership skills
• Confident developing managers and building high-performing teams
• Strong knowledge of fresh food, HACCP and retail compliance
• Highly organised with the ability to effectively manage two locations
• Full driving licence preferred due to the multi-site nature of the position
