The Job:

With a full copy of the spec on request, the Batching Operative will:

• Play a key role in coordinating and controlling concrete mix batches to meet company specifications and targets. You will operate the batching plant safely and efficiently, ensuring the delivery of high-quality concrete to precast factories. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to production process, maximising output during the production day while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

The Person:

• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate and high-quality work.
• Experience in concrete, production and chemical environments is highly advantageous.
• Ability to ensure products meet required standards and specifications.
• Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safety practices.
• Comfortable working in a busy factory environment.
• Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and carry out product testing procedures.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety guidelines and proper use of PPE.
• Proactive and flexible approach to tasks and teamwork.
• Support and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
