Fresh Food Assistant – Dublin City

We are currently recruiting a Fresh Food Assistant to join a premium food retail business in Dublin City.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for fresh food who is looking to develop their skills in both the butcher and deli departments while working alongside an experienced team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation and presentation of fresh meat products.
• Support experienced butchers with cutting, trimming and product preparation.
• Prepare and serve a range of deli and fresh food products.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and HACCP compliance.
• Ensure counters are fully stocked, merchandised and presented to a high standard.
• Assist with stock control, stock rotation and waste management.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in a deli, butcher, fresh food or retail environment is desirable.
• Passion for food and customer service.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• HACCP knowledge is advantageous.
