Security Officer

Excel Recruitment is looking to recruit Security Officer for our Healthcare client based in Dublin 9. The job will be casual, night shifts, 1 – 7 shifts per week.

Due to the nature of the job, own car is essential.

The ideal Security Officer will have all the relevant licenses, an excellent level of English, and a calm and approachable manner always.

Security Officer Duties:

• Monitoring and patrolling the job site
• Monitoring other sites on the property
• Monitoring the phone line, taking messages and transferring the call to the right departments
• Controlling entry and exit of authorized personnel
• Detecting incidents and ensuring all the issues are managed in line with SOP’s
• Maintaining awareness of physical security and safety
• Preventing damage to the property
• Helping with deliveries if required
• Helping visitors and employees

Security Officer requirements:

• A valid PSA license
• Excellent level of English, spoken and written
• Previous experience as a security officer is an advantage
• Strong communication skills
• Own vehicle
