Baker – Supermarket – Dublin

Excel Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Baker to join our client’s busy supermarket in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled baker to showcase their craft in a thriving retail environment, producing fresh, high-quality products that delight customers every day.

Salary: €20 – €22 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, and other bakery items to the highest standards
• Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure consistent quality and freshness
• Monitor baking processes, adjusting temperatures and cooking times as necessary
• Maintain stock levels of raw ingredients and report ordering requirements
• Ensure the bakery area is clean, organised, and compliant with food safety and hygiene standards
• Assist with developing and introducing new bakery products and seasonal ranges
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to bakery-related queries
• Work closely with the store team to achieve sales, waste, and quality targets

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Baker in a retail, supermarket, or bakery environment
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
• Understanding of HACCP and food safety procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required
• A genuine passion for baking and delivering exceptional products to customers
