Trainee Manager – Co. Cork

Salary: €35k – €37k

Responsibilities:

• Support the Store Manager in ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Supervise and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Manage stock levels, oversee replenishment, and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company policies.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Contribute to meeting sales targets and executing promotional activities.
• Assist with staff scheduling, shift planning, and team performance reviews.
• Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, organisation, and visual presentation.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a retail setting, ideally in a supermarket or convenience store.
• Strong leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and manage a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Organisational skills with attention to detail.
• A customer-first attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding service.
