Senior HR Specialist – Dublin
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Specialist to join a fast-paced and rapidly expanding organisation operating across multiple European locations.
Reporting directly to the HR Director, this position will play a crucial role in supporting the continued growth of the business through the delivery of high-volume recruitment, workforce mobilisation, HR operations and strategic people projects.
Working alongside a large HR and Talent Acquisition team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring critical hiring demands are met across nine locations throughout Europe. This is a highly visible role requiring an individual who can operate with urgency, professionalism and accuracy in an environment where business priorities can change quickly and recruitment requirements are often immediate and project-driven.
This position is best suited to a confident and commercially aware HR professional who enjoys working at pace, managing multiple priorities simultaneously and building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership and executive management. Due to the scale of hiring activity and ongoing project requirements, this is a fully onsite position based in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the HR Director and wider leadership team to support hiring and workforce requirements across nine European locations.
- Manage high-volume recruitment activity across a broad range of technical, professional and operational positions.
- Respond effectively to urgent and reactive hiring requirements, ensuring critical business needs are met within demanding timeframes.
- Work closely with hiring managers and project teams to understand workforce demands and develop recruitment solutions that support project delivery.
- Support workforce planning initiatives, helping to identify talent needs in line with business growth and project pipelines.
- Coordinate employee mobilisation across multiple European locations, ensuring resources are deployed efficiently and effectively.
- Support global mobility activity, including relocations, cross-border assignments and workforce movement across Europe.
- Play a key role in delivering HR and business improvement projects within a constantly evolving environment.
- Act as a key user of SAP HR, ensuring employee records, reporting and workforce data are maintained to the highest standard.
- Produce HR metrics and management reports to support business decision-making and workforce planning.
- Drive process improvements across HR and recruitment activities, focusing on efficiency, consistency and service delivery.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, including senior management and executive leadership.
- Maintain the highest levels of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality when managing people-related matters.
Experience & Personal Profile
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior HR, Talent Acquisition or HR Operations position.
- Strong track record managing high-volume and fast-moving recruitment campaigns.
- Experience supporting both planned and reactive hiring requirements within a demanding business environment.
- Previous experience working within a large HR or Talent Acquisition team.
- Exposure to workforce mobilisation, international recruitment or global mobility activity would be highly advantageous.
- SAP HR experience is essential.
- Proven experience delivering projects and driving process improvements.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to engage professionally with senior leaders and executive-level stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to influence, build trust and develop strong working relationships.
- Resilient, adaptable and capable of maintaining momentum in the face of challenges, changing priorities and demanding deadlines.
