We’re looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Shop Manager to join a thriving retail business in Co. Wicklow. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a destination store offering an inspiring range of homeware, lifestyle, gifting, gardening, and outdoor living products.

The Role

As Assistant Manager, you will:

• Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store.
• Lead, coach, and motivate the retail team to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Drive sales through excellent product knowledge and customer engagement.
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Oversee stock control, replenishment, and inventory management.
• Handle customer queries professionally and resolve issues effectively.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
• Assist with seasonal promotions, merchandising, and in-store events.
• Ensure all health and safety and company procedures are followed.
• Take responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager.

About You

• Previous experience in a retail supervisory or Assistant Manager role.

• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
