Assistant Manager – Home & Lifestyle

Are you an experienced retail leader with a passion for customer service, visual merchandising, and creating an inspiring shopping experience? We are recruiting an Assistant Manager for a well-established Irish lifestyle retailer in Co. Wicklow. This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Manager/Team Leader coming from a homeware, giftware, lifestyle, furniture, or fashion background.

Working alongside the senior management team, you will support the day-to-day running of a busy retail department, ensuring exceptional customer service standards, strong commercial performance, and an engaging shopping environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering outstanding customer experiences and service standards
• Driving sales through excellent product knowledge and customer engagement
• Managing stock control, inventory and store administration
• Maintaining exceptional visual merchandising standards across home, giftware and lifestyle departments
• Supporting seasonal launches, promotional activity and in-store events
• Managing customer queries and resolving issues professionally
• Taking responsibility for the department in the absence of the Retail Manager
• Ensuring health & safety and company compliance standards are maintained

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous retail management or supervisory experience
• Enjoys working in a customer-focused, service-led environment
• Demonstrates commercial awareness and a drive to achieve results
• Can coach, motivate and develop a team
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills
• Brings a positive, hands-on leadership style
