Excel Healthcare is thrilled to be partnering with one of the midland’s largest healthcare groups, to hire a Physiotherapist to work across 4 of their care facilities. This role will require travelling between locations, so a full driving license will be a requirement.

Our client provides long-term residential care, respite care, and care to those with acquired brain injuries. They pride themselves on being rooted in the local community, which ensures residents truly feel at home. The successful Physiotherapist will review residents on a need’s basis in addition to working collaboratively with the nurses and healthcare assistants to promote resident’s mobility and independence. This role will primarily be based in Mullingar, with some travel to the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for both newly graduated and experienced physiotherapists to join an established healthcare provider.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review residents and develop individualised treatment plans
  • Advise the nursing staff and work collaboratively on patients care plans
  • Educate residents on daily exercise practices
  • Work on own initiative and in an effective and resourceful manner
  • Attend MDT meetings

Job Requirements:

  • Hold a Physiotherapy qualification
  • Active registration with CORU the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists
  • Some post-graduate experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Full driving license and own transport

Job role

  • 2 experienced pharmacy techs & 2 OTC assistants
  • Approx. 15 Methadone patients, no needle exchange.
  • 90 nursing home beds.
  • Efficiently run dispensary using software to plan and disperse workload amongst the team.
