Weekend Deli Assistant – Galway

Excel Recruitment is seeking to recruit a hardworking Weekend Deli Assistant to join their retail clients store near Athenry, Galway.

The ideal candidate will possess deli/food experience however all other retail experience is considered.

We are looking a Deli Assistant for an immediate start, who has a strong work ethic, flexible approach, and a genuine desire to provide excellent customer care at all times.

Responsibilities of this Deli Assistant job include:

• Food preparation and replenishing of food displays
• Ensuring Health and Safety are met
• Providing customers with a 5 Star experience

The requirements for the Deli Assistant job include:

• Previous deli / fresh food/ butcher experience
• Excellent Customer Service skills are needed
• Ability to work at a fast pace and as part of a team
• Manual Handling & HACCP certification – Training can be provided

Salary package: €13+ p/h depending on deli experience
