Excel Recruitment is seeking a Territory Sales Executive for our client who specialise in interior products and solutions for retail and trade customers across Ireland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious sales professional to manage an established territory, build strong customer relationships, and drive sales growth across the West and Midlands of Ireland.

Territory Covered: Cavan, Offaly, Westmeath, Longford, Leitrim, Roscommon, Clare, Galway, Mayo, and Sligo.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow sales within the assigned territory.
• Develop new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retail, trade, and contractor customers.
• Conduct regular customer visits to ensure excellent territory coverage.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Generate and process customer orders accurately.
• Follow up on enquiries, orders, and customer requirements.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales within existing accounts.
• Promote current and new products to customers.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in field sales, account management and business development.
• Experience selling into retail, trade, merchant, showroom, interiors, home improvement, construction, or related sectors is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent negotiation and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory with occasional overnight stays.

• Base salary of €37,000
• Commission paid weekly
