Excel Healthcare is currently looking to hire a Support Worker work with people with intellectual disabilities for a client based in Navan, Co. Meath.

As a Support Worker, you will provide practical, emotional, and social support to individuals in supported living and community settings. You’ll work as part of a dedicated team, helping service users achieve their personal goals and improve their quality of life.

Requirements of this Support Worker job

• QQI Level 5 Certificate in Healthcare (minimum course modules obtained: Care of the Elderly and Care Skills) with at least 6 months’ experience.
• Valid certificates for Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults, Infection Control, Patient Manual Handling.
• Eligible to work in Ireland, EU passport or valid IRP card.
• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards.

Responsibilities of this Support Worker job
