Supermarket Duty Manager – Dublin City

Excel Recruitment is currently seeking a driven and ambitious Duty Manager to join a high-performing supermarket in Dublin City.

Salary: €40k – €42k

Key Responsibilities:

• Support overall store performance including sales, margin, and operational standards
• Lead and motivate teams across grocery, fresh food, and front-end departments
• Ensure high standards in merchandising, stock control, and store presentation
• Manage staff performance, delegation, and daily task execution
• Monitor KPIs and support the delivery of business targets
• Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, and health & safety regulations
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve any issues efficiently
• Act as Duty Manager in the absence of senior management

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in a supervisory or management role within grocery retail
• Strong understanding of supermarket operations and fresh food standards
• A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop teams
• Commercially aware with a focus on driving sales and controlling costs
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ambitious with a desire to progress within retail management
