Store Manager | Carrickmines, South Dublin

Our client a leading outdoor sports and lifestyle retailer is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Store Manager to lead their busy and high-profile store in Carrickmines, South Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate retail professional with a strong background in fashion or sports retail management who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

The successful candidate will bring strong leadership skills, commercial awareness, and a hands-on approach to driving sales and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring exceptional standards across customer service, visual merchandising, and store presentation
• Drive sales performance through effective leadership, team motivation, and commercial decision-making
• Manage stock levels and ensure strong product availability in line with customer demand
• Analyse sales performance, identify trends, and implement strategies to maximise turnover and profitability
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing retail team
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards
• Organise and support in-store events and promotional activity to enhance customer engagement
• Work closely with the wider business to support local marketing initiatives and store growth
• Foster a positive and energetic team culture focused on continuous improvement and delivering an excellent customer experience

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ retail management experience within fashion, sports, or similar outdoor lifestyle retail
• Previous experience managing in a high-volume retail environment
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commercially focused with a proven ability to drive KPIs and sales performance
• Proficient in retail systems and Microsoft Office
• Flexible to work weekends and peak trading periods as required
• Must be authorised to work in Ireland and able to commute to Carrickmines
