Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting for Specialist Support Workers on a permanent full-time basis based in Belfast with a starting salary of £21,869 with additional hours payments.

Our client is one of Northern Ireland’s biggest charities, which supports some of the most vulnerable in society by offering a wide range of life-changing services.

Responsibilities:

With a full copy of the Job Duties and Person Spec available on request you will:

• Work as part of a team that offers a 24/7 service to small groups of clients from 16-21 years of age, who suffer from poor mental health, and/or substance/alcohol abuse, assisting your clients to maintain their tenancy and to live safely in the community.

Requirements:

• 6 months experience of working with vulnerable children or adults
• Experience of care and support for young people who suffer from poor mental health, alcohol/drug use and working in a fast-paced environment
• Available to work shifts to cover the 24/7 service
• Key working, coordinating and delivering support packages
• Valid driving licence and access to a car to meet the needs of the job
• NISCC registered (or agree to become registered within 6 months from date of appointment)
