Site Manager
Excel Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Site Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager to join a fast-growing multinational company based in Galway.
As a Site Manager you will work collaboratively with the project manager and project team to deliver quality projects from inception to handover. Projects can include schools, residential developments, commercial developments, and refurbishment.
Responsibilities:
o Reading, interpreting and setting-out from engineer’s drawings, site surveys, as-built drawings
o Setting Out
o Communicating with Consultants, Project Manager, Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors
o Liaising with client’s representatives / Design Team members as required
o Management of subcontractors / general workforce on site
o Build strong relationships with sub-contractors to deliver the agreed targets efficiently and within budget, while keeping a high attention to quality and detail.
o Planning works in an efficient manner to ensure programme targets are achieved.
o Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of Quality standards.
o Ensuring that all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards.
o Ordering and control of materials on site
o Maintaining Site Records – site diary, quality assurance documentation, records of deliveries, as-built drawings etc.
Requirements:
o A third level degree in Engineering or Construction Management
o A minimum of 3 year’s experience as a Civil Engineer
o Confident and experienced in Setting Out
o Confident using Microsoft Office packages and AutoCAD
o Good knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental regulations
o Ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets
