Responsibilities of the General Manager

• Lead and manage the entire catering, hospitality, events, and front-of-house operation
• Ensure exceptional service delivery across all food service and hospitality areas
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders
• Oversee meeting room hospitality, corporate events, and VIP functions
• Manage operational budgets, forecasting, and financial performance
• Drive commercial performance and identify opportunities for business growth
• Lead, mentor, and develop departmental managers and wider hospitality teams
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, health & safety, and company standards
• Monitor KPIs, service levels, and operational performance metrics
• Conduct client review meetings and implement service improvement initiatives
• Manage recruitment, workforce planning, and employee engagement across the site
• Deliver operational reports and strategic updates to senior leadership

Requirements of the General Manager

• Proven hospitality management experience within corporate catering or high-end hotel environments
• Strong background in corporate events, meeting room management, and client-facing hospitality
• Experience leading and developing hospitality teams
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
• Professional, discreet, and confident working with corporate clients
• Knowledge of hospitality systems or stock management platforms is an advantage
