I am recruiting a Senior Ecommerce Executive for my client, a highly successful and well-renowned fashion and lifestyle retailer with stores nationwide and well performing domestic and international websites.

You will be extremely sales focused and very data driven in order to make key commercial decisions to increase overall revenue, items per transaction and average order value.

As Ecommerce Executive you will ensure products are merchandised and categorised correctly, that the user experience is second to none and products are displayed in a way to encourage link selling and add on sales.

You will be responsible for launching new products online and changing banners and landing pages; making the website appealing to keep visitors engaged and increase conversion.

Salary €40k-€50k but must reflect experience, 3% Pension Contribution, 20% Discount on products.

Responsibilities for the job of Senior Ecommerce Executive:

  • Take responsibility for driving daily, weekly, and seasonal e-commerce trading performance, along with all associated KPIs.
  • Proactively manage website merchandising by implementing commercial strategies that boost sales and profitability.
  • Oversee the launch of all new products on the websites, ensuring optimal presentation, pricing, positioning, and categorisation to maximise commercial impact.
  • Continuously assess and enhance the functionality of the website’s search bar, on-site widgets, and merchandising features.
  • Be fully accountable for website stock availability, including the management of bestsellers, the improvement of underperformers, and demand forecasting.
  • Develop and refine pricing and margin strategies to align with overall business goals.
  • Guarantee the timely and commercially effective execution of all promotional and sale activities.
  • Design and improve landing pages in partnership with the marketing team, sourcing visuals and tiles that support commercial aims.
  • Carry out regular website walkthroughs to uncover opportunities for commercial and user experience enhancements.
  • Take ownership of identifying essential website features and upgrades needed to deliver a best-in-class customer experience (CX).
  • Prepare strong business cases for new website functionalities, using insights from performance data, customer behaviour, and market standards.
  • Work closely with IT and digital development teams to bring new features from concept through to launch, including full testing and approval.
  • Prioritise all development work around improving the user experience (UX), user interface (UI), and conversion rates.
  • Lead consistent reporting on e-commerce performance across daily, weekly, and quarterly intervals, offering clear, actionable insights.
