Sales Assistant – Interiors & Home Styling

We are currently recruiting a Senior Sales Assistant to join a customer-focused interiors and homeware retailer based in Limerick. This full-time, permanent role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and creative retail environment, helping customers make considered choices for their homes.

**Home/DIY/paint/interiors retail experience is essential**

If you have a passion for interiors, colour, and design, and enjoy providing tailored advice in a consultative setting, this could be the ideal next step in your retail career.

Responsibilities for this Sales Assistant Role:

• Engaging with customers to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on a range of interior and home styling solutions.
• Offering best-in-class service while building long-term relationships with clients.
• Maintaining an organised and visually appealing store environment.
• Working closely with your team to support store goals and contribute to a positive team culture.
• Learning about product ranges, application techniques, and interior trends to assist customers effectively.

Skills and requirements needed for this Role:

• Experience in DIY, Paint, home or Interiors retail is essential.
• A genuine interest in interiors, colour matching, or design-led retail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to make customers feel welcome and supported.
• A team player with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
• Someone who enjoys a busy retail environment and takes pride in excellent service.
